Day 1 - Sydney - Fraser Island
Your journey begins in our departure lounge meeting fellow passengers. The flight is along the New South Wales coastline to Hervey Bay where you transfer by fast catamaran to Fraser Island. Day 2 - Fraser Island - Hamilton Island
From Fraser Island you continue along the coast, passing a myriad of small islands, reefs and sandy beaches, stopping briefly to refuel at Rockhampton before landing at Hamilton Island. The remainder of the day is free. Hamilton Island Resort (BLD)

Day 3 - Hamilton Island - Cairns
Today you are taken by private charter yacht across to Whitehaven Beach for a delightful cruise and lunch on its pristine pure white sands. Late afternoon, after a relaxing day you board your aircraft for the flight further north to Cairns capital of Far North Queensland. Holiday Inn (BLD)

Day 4 - Cairns - Kuranada Skyrail
After breakfast you board the Kuranda Scenic Railway for the 34km journey from Cairns onto the Atherton Tablelands. Built in 1891, the line is an accurate representation of the period and is classified by the National Trust. The journey takes us from the coastal plain through rainforest and Barron Gorge to Kuranda. After lunch in one of the many small intimate restaurants you stroll across to the Skyrail terminus for the return journey down the mountains to Cairns. Below, you will see the panoramic view of the rainforest, with the Great Barrier Reef stretching beyond the land fringe. Holiday Inn (BLD)

Day 5 - Cairns - Thursday Island
From Cairns you head further north passing Cooktown and on to the Torres Strait - your destination Horn Island. Upon landing, you take a short ferry ride across to Thursday Island, the administrative centre of the region. The afternoon is spent on tour including Fort Victoria on Green Hill, the Japanese Memorial and the many churches and buildings typical of the area. Torres Strait Resort (BLD)

Day 6 - Thursday Island - Gove -. Kakadu National Park - Darwin
The first part of today’s flight is across the very roof of Australia - the Gulf of Carpentaria, to our refuelling point Gove (Nhulunbuy). You continue skirting the coastal fringes of Arnhem Land and finally landing at Jabiru. Here you enjoy lunch and an afternoon tour of Kakadu National Park. In the late afternoon you re join the aircraft for the short flight into Darwin. Saville Park Suite (BLD)

Day 7 - Darwin
The morning is free for you to wander around Darwin, taking in the sights and ambience of Australia's northern most capital. After lunch you join your guide for a visit to the Territory Wildlife Park and their famous jumping crocodiles. Saville Park Suite (BLD)

Day 8 - Darwin - Broome
Today's flight takes you along the coast to Wyndham to refuel before following the rugged Kimberley Coastline and on to Broome. The remainder of the day is free. Cable Beach Resort (BLD)

Day 9 - Broome
Your morning is free to explore the town or simply relax beside the pool. After lunch you join your guide for a tour of the area including a final stop at Gantheaume Point for the magnificent view of the sun setting over the Indian Ocean accompanied by a glass of champagne. Day 10 - Broome - Karatha - Monkey Mia
The flight path this morning follows the coast line along eighty mile beach, passing Cape Boussuf to the regional centre of Karratha. Here you join your guide for a short tour of the centre with its huge rail link to the Hammersely Ranges. At Dampier you will see the mile long ore trains unloading literally millions of tonnes of ore into conveyors and then onto the giant ore carriers bound for Japan. From Karratha you fly south, over Carnarvon and on to Denham/Monkey Mia. Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort (BLD)

Day 11 - Monkey Mia
Before you begin the days touring, there is time to wander down to the beach to watch the dolphins come into shore at Monkey Mia. You then board a large catamaran for a cruise on World Heritage listed Shark Bay. A highlight is watching the dolphins leading the boat, crisscrossing the bow. Day 12 - Monkey Mia - Perth
A morning flight southwards along the coast, passing the sheer Zuytdorp Cliffs, named after the Dutch ship wrecked here in 1712, stopping to refuel at Geraldton, before continuing on to Perth. The remainder of the day is free perhaps take a ferry along the Swan River to Perth's CBD. Tradewinds Hotel (BLD)

Day 13 - Perth - Rottnest Island - Bunbury - Margaret River
Today you leave Perth for a day trip across to Rottnest Island. The day is free to explore this holiday retreat. You re join the aircraft at around 1500 for the flight to Bunbury, where you join our coach driver for the drive along the coast to Margaret River. The Grange Motel (BD)

Day 14 - Margaret River - Cape Leeuwin - Walpole
For the next two days you exchange the aircraft for a comfortable mini-coach to enable you to fully appreciate this wonderful south western corner of Australia. Your first stop is at one of the many wineries so famous in the Margaret River area. The journey continues down to the very edge of Australia - Cape Leeuwin. Here you can see the merging of the Great Southern and Indian Oceans and the remarkable riptide between the two. Your journey continues through Pemberton and finally into Walpole, the home of the Valley of the Giants and the Tree Top Walk. Tree Top Motel (BLD)

Day 15 - Walpole - Albany - Esperance
From Walpole you drive into Albany, Western Australia's oldest settlement. It was here that the first troops left for Gallipoli, a memorial is set on the hill above the town overlooking the bay. Of special interest is a visit to Whaleworld where you can see at first hand the history of whaling. In the late afternoon you re join the aircraft for the short flight along the coast to Esperance. Day 16 - Esperance - Nullabor Cliffs - Adelaide
Before departing Esperance time is spent in and around the town including a visit to the clear blue sparkling waters of the Recherche Bay. Mid morning you board the aircraft for the flight along the wonderful rugged coastline. Here you will see cliffs towering up to 500 feet rising from the Southern Ocean. Dependant upon the season it is possible to see whales making their way long the coast. All this can be seen from an altitude of between 500 and 1500 feet, just off the coast. Your flight continues, passing Ceduna and Coffin Bay, finally arriving at Adelaide Airport. Holiday Inn (BLD)

Day 17 - Adelaide - Barossa Valley
This morning you drive into the Adelaide Hills and on to the Barossa Valley, visiting wineries and small towns all displaying their Germanic past, finishing at Rowland Flat. Novatel Barossa Valley Resort (BLD)

Day 18 - Adelaide - Hobart
From here you drive back to Adelaide to rejoin the aircraft for the flight along the south eastern coast, stopping at Warrnambool to refuel, before crossing Bass Strait. After overflying the Tasmanian coastline the country below opens out to a spectacle of rugged highlands and glacial lakes, culminating with the picturesque city of Hobart. Day 19 - Hobart - Sydney
This morning you tour Hobart, including the drive to the top of Mt Wellington for a magnificent view of the city and Storm Bay to the southeast. Late afternoon re join your aircraft for the flight back across Bass Strait to Sydney, arriving at 1800. (BL)
