Day 1 - Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane - Auckland - Raratonga
Your journey begins with an Air New Zealand flight across the
Tasman to Auckland and then on to Raratonga in the Cook Islands.

Day 2 - Raratonga
The day is free to enjoy the resort or perhaps catch one of the
local buses that circle the island every thirty minutes. Edgewater

Day 3 - Raratonga - Aitutaki
This morning you board your private airliner for the short flight
north to one of the most famous lagoons of the Pacific. It was here
from the late 1940's through to the early 60's that TEAL and PAN
AM would land their flying boats, refuel and take on passengers.
You spend the day on One Foot Island doing absolutely nothing simply

Day 4 - Aitutaki - Papeete
Your morning is free to enjoy the quiet sunshine of this delightful
location. Mid afternoon you board your aircraft for the first International
flight across to Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia. Radisson

Today is spent touring around the main island immersing yourselves

Day 6 - Papeete - Bora Bora
The flight this morning is only very short across to what most
people classify as the most beautiful island of the Pacific Bora
Bora. It was this paradise that was made famous in the film South
Pacific. After transferring to your accommodation the remainder of
the day is free to explore. Of special note is the view from the
resort across the lagoon to the cloud covered mountains. Bora Bora

Day 8 - Bora Bora - Nuku Hiva
This morning you journey northwards, on your private airliner,
to the remote outer most parts of French Polynesia the Marquesas
Islands. The island group features dramatic coastlines without the
usual coral reefs. The interior of the islands are rugged with dense
tropical vegetation. As few visitors call here you will be greeted
with a warm welcome that is both unexpected and refreshing. Keikahanui

Day 9 - Nuku Hiva
Your tour today takes in both local culture and the unique archaeological

Day 10 - Nuku Hiva - Hiva Oa
Due to special requirements we leave our aircraft behind and
taken the Air Tahiti flight across to Hiva Oa. It was here that the
French painter Paul Gauguin and the Belguin singer/poet Jacques Brel

Day 11 - Hiva Oa
Today you tour the island, stopping at Gauguins home as well
as Calvaire Cemetery where he is buried. Of special interest are
the Tehueto petroglyphs stylised horizontal human figures that are

Day 12 - Hiva Oa - Nuku Hiva - Rurutu
You return to Nuku Hiva on Air Tahiti and then re-join your own
aircraft for the flight southwards, stopping at Fakarava to refuel,
before landing at Rurutu in the Austral Islands Group. Rurutu and
its sister islands are quiet different from the rest of French Polynesia,
they are a spartan scattered group that are the extension of the
range of submerged peaks starting in the Cook Islands. Due to the
remoteness of the islands this is probably the last remaining location
of the Pacific untouched by tourism. Your overnight stays is in one

Day 13 - Rurutu
This morning you tour briefly to get orientated with the island
before having the remainder of the day free to enjoy this untouched
pristine paradise.

Day 14 - Rurutu - Papeete - Rartonga
After lunch we board our aircraft for the flight to Papeete,
to clear French customs, before heading back across the Pacific to
Raratonga. As this is your last night you enjoy a farewell dinner

Day 15 - Rartonga - Auckland - Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane
You depart Raratonga at 0900 for Auckland, crossing the date
line; from here you bid farewell to fellow travellers as you
board various aircraft for your final homeward journey.
